Rosterly is planning software built around Dutch law: hours, rest, night limits and under-18 rules are checked before you publish, not discovered by an inspector afterwards. One price, for any kind of business, in every language your team speaks.
No minimum, no per-location surcharge, no per-planner fee, no module packages. A person counts only in a month they actually worked. Prices exclude VAT.
A two-person café, a food truck, a salon, a shop that has not hired yet: you get the whole product, legal checks included, and no invoice ever arrives. No card, no trial clock, no downgraded version. When you grow past three people who work, the price above starts — per person, only for the people who worked.
| Your month | You pay | Why people tell us it is worth it |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 3 active employees | €0 | Small enough to be free, not small enough to deserve losing your weekends |
| 4 active employees | €14 | Less than one hour of most people's wage bill |
| 12 active employees | €42 | About the same as the incumbent charges for ten |
| 25 active employees | €87.50 | A month of rosters, swaps and legal checks |
| 60 active employees | €210 | Still below what a per-seat tool charges for a third of that team |
The count is measured per month from the shifts actually worked, so a quiet January costs you less than a busy July. A student who goes home for three weeks is not a cost while they are away, and a terrace you close for the winter is not either.
Every employer in the Netherlands has the same obligations, and most planning happens without ever checking them. These run on your own roster before it reaches anyone:
We are a planning tool, not your lawyer or your payroll: the numbers are planning figures, and your accountant stays your accountant. But the checks that protect your people and your licence happen here, in plain language, while you still have time to change the roster.
If your people work in shifts or by appointment, the wizard sets up your world in about two minutes — and every shift type, department, availability block and rule is yours to change.
Three sectors in the wizard, because a restaurant opens at seven and a shop does not — the rest is yours to shape. Working in more than one location, or as a floater who covers several, is supported the same way.
A direct line to us on WhatsApp, same working day Monday to Friday. Unlimited changes made for you — new departments, shift types, availability blocks, rules tuned to a new season. And a quarterly twenty-minute review hunting the money that leaks out of rosters and surcharges. Cancel whenever you stop wanting it.
The wizard builds your world in about two minutes: pick what kind of business you are, confirm the shift times it suggests, and it creates your locations, shift types, departments and availability blocks — already mapped, ready to plan. Changing anything afterwards is yours to do, and nothing is hidden behind the next step.
For owners who would rather not type it all in: we sit with you (in person or on a call) and load your people, shift types, departments and rules ourselves. Switching from another tool? Send us the export and we bring it across, column names in Dutch and all. If you never ask for this, you never pay it.
Cancel any time, export everything any time. No deletion fee, no hostage-taking of your roster history, no annual contract to escape.
Small months are small invoices. We are not going to charge a four-person shop a floor meant for a twelve-person kitchen.
| The question | The answer |
|---|---|
| We are switching from another tool — can you bring our data? | Yes. Paste or send us your export — even if the column names are in Dutch and your tool's words for roles and departments are different, we map them and show you a preview before anything is written. |
| We have three locations and two planners. | Same price as everyone else: €3.50 per active employee. Locations and planner accounts are not line items. |
| Who counts as an active employee? | Someone with at least one shift in the month you are invoiced for. Nobody else, ever. |
| Do we need to be technical? | No. If you can use a spreadsheet, you can use this. The wizard asks in plain language, and setup exists precisely because most owners would rather not do it themselves. |
| Our team does not all speak Dutch. | The employee app carries English, Dutch, Polish and Romanian. Your staff read it in the language they actually work in. |
| Is this payroll? | No. It is planning software, and the cost figures are planning estimates. Payroll stays with your payroll administration — we hand it the numbers. |
| What happens to our data if we leave? | You export everything, and we delete it on request. No hard feelings. |
Payroll bureaus, kassa dealers and consultants: bring a customer and we handle the setup and the support. See the partner section on the main page.
